Advantages of the SENTIFIT pierceTube

  • The pierceable tube requires no preparation whatsoever of the sample.
  • The haemoglobin remains stable in the tube for 32 days at 2-8 degrees Celsius or for 14 days at 24-32 degrees Celsius
  • The tube is in accordance with the compressive strength required by UN 3300 for sample transport according to the packaging regulation P 650 of the ADR and IATA.
     
  • Automated archiving can be carried out by a tube sorter in standard racks.

Advantages of the SENTIFIT 270

The SENTiFIT 270 is a fully automated clinical-chemical system. It has been specially developed to measure the SENTiFIT pierceTube for quantitative determination of occult faecal haemoglobin. The SENTiFIT 270 has already proven itself to be a reliable partner in the laboratory in various bowel cancer screening programmes.

The SENTiFIT 270 can evaluate up to 270 samples per hour. No kind of sample preparation or treatment is necessary so that measurements are fast, safe and hygienic, i.e. no further contact between the laboratory staff and sample material.

The SENTiFIT pierceTube can only be placed in the sample rack with the pierceable side facing upwards. This prevents any delays in measurements or incorrect results. It reduces input since incorrectly positioned tubes do not have to be turned over by hand.

Continuous reloading of the racks during measurement
The rack (sample tray) can be continuously reloaded during the measurement so that the sample can be processed without interruptions, and therefore without losing any time.

Cooling the reagents for permanent storage in SENTiFIT 270
Cooling the reagents in the SENTiFIT 270 means they can be stored permanently in the device and do not have to be removed at the end of measurements. What's more, the stability of the reagents is guaranteed by their correct storage.

Measure up to 1,250 tests without changing the reagent
You can measure up to 1,250 tests without changing the reagent in the SENTiFIT 270. This means fewer interruptions to the measurements and a higher throughput and faster availability of the results.

Automatic warning of deviation of the fluid level
An integrated sensor warns of deviations from the correct fluid level in the sample tube. This ensures that only correctly filled SENTiFIT pierceTubes are measured. False positive or false negative measurement results are ruled out.

Integrated sensor prevents blocking of the sample needle
A sensor sends an error message in the event of solid microparticles, thus preventing any blockages in the sample needle. This makes a second filter in the sample tube superfluous.

The barcode reader makes it far easier to quickly read-in new reagent packs.
